Visa Information

Visa Support and Visa Registration

These two are different, and we can help you with both.

Visa Support

Before travelling to Russia, all foreign visitors must get a visa from a Russian Embassy.

To do this, you must provide the Embassy with an invitation (otherwise known as visa support, or a tourist voucher and confirmation). We can provide this invitation for you immediately through our easy online order form.

Visa Registration

Is to let the authorities know where you are staying when in Russia. The law states that within 3 days of arriving in Moscow you need to let them know where you are staying. This is done by putting a stamp on your white immigration slip that you get when entering the country. Very simple procedure, abit of a leftover from the old days, it really has no function or role in modern Russia anymore, but nevertheless you need to do it or the police can stop you when you are walking around town. We do help you with this at Topfloor, you will be asked when you check-in if you need it. We charge 700 rubles for this. Most hotels will do this for free when you stay with them, but then you are paying around 200 euro a night for a room :) Some hostels will do it for 500rubles, but most places in Moscow will charge you 1000r. We are not the cheapest, but definetly not the most expensive. It takes a day or two to register you, simple and easy and everyone normally gets it done.
